Forensic secure services market assessment

Comments Off on Forensic secure services market assessment

Rubicon has just completed the medium secure market assessment started last November on behalf of West London Mental Health NHS Trust. In completing the project we took the decision to deviate significantly from the original brief due to NHS England’s specialised commissioner’s intention to tender for low and medium secure services in 2015/16. This resulted in our work being less than originally expected: the trust were extremely pleased that we took the honest approach of telling them that the original work was no longer required.

Rubicon has started working with through South CSU to help NHS England’s south region with the operational and strategic planning round for 2015/16. Our work includes planning the assurance process that will be used by NHS England’s sub-regional (area teams) when reviewing operating pans submitted by the 50 CCGs in the south. The assurance process will ensure that NHS England and its partners in Monitor and the TDA are confident that healthcare commissioners and providers have robust aligned operating plans.
