ETTF bids and reviews

Rubicon is working with partners from WT Partnership to review EETF funding bids on behalf of NHSE and is separately working on ETTF bids for a GP in Hastings and for Greenwich CCG.

Estate strategy – phase 2

Working alongside colleagues from WT Partnership, Rubicon will be commencing phase two of our work on East Suffolk and North Essex’s estates strategy, in June.

Rubicon appointed to develop demand and capacity model

Rubicon has been appointed to work with a large community and mental health provider to develop a suite of demand and capacity models for the trust’s services including specialist community teams, community hospital beds and community-based mental health teams.  The work will also involve benchmarking the trust’s services to inform future efficiency plans.

South Kent CCG – New Romney hub

We have been appointed, via the Crown Commercial Services management consulting framework, to work with the South Kent CCG, local GPs, Kent Community Health, NHS Property Services and local town, district and county councils on plans to build a new community health and wellbeing hub in New Romney.  The hub will bring together a wide range of statutory sector commissioned services into new purpose built facilities.  This will enable the better integration of health and care services, as well as assisting in making out of hospital and primary care services in the area, more resilient.

West Dorset Mental Health services

Rubicon and Medical Architecture have been working with Dorset HealthCare to explore a one-off opportunity to bring mental health and community health services together on a single site to serve the west of the county.  Our work led to the development of a strategic outline case which has been presented to the trust’s board for approval.

Bank Workers Charity

Our work with BWC concluded in February when the charity’s three year strategy was approved by the BWC Board.

Great Western STP Funding Success

“A big congratulations also goes to the team who have worked so hard over the last few months to secure us the £30million funding grant to expand our A&E services.

“We are delighted by the news that we’ve been successful in our bid for national funds to support us in expanding much needed hospital capacity.

“This news follows a bid we made to the Department of Health earlier this summer for £30m to support the expansion of the Emergency Department and the purchase of the expansion land next to the hospital to develop other services,” said Chief Executive Nerissa Vaughan.

Tavistock and Portman

The Tavistock and Portman NHSFT has appointed Rubicon to write a business case for the redevelopment or reprovision of the foundation trust’s Tavistock Centre.  The work will run through to February.
