Testimonials

Director of IMT, Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
Thank you for all of the hard work you put into the outline business case in producing some key documents, supporting the internal team and giving great advice and critical guidance throughout this process.  The OBC passed all of its governance steps without amendment,  which is an outstanding achievement.
Associate Director – Business Intelligence and Transformation, The Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
The Rubicon team bring a very professional approach to all their work, and operate very credibly at across the organisation and with stakeholders. Knowledge of mergers and strategic development within the health service is strong, and their work is adding significant value to our long term strategy.  I am very happy to recommend Rubicon.
Senior Strategic Redesign Manager, Central Southern CSU
I worked with Rubicon in Berkshire East specifically around urgent care and long term conditions. Having arrived on the project mid way through I was particularly impressed with the clarity of vision and the effective presentation of the new models. I have worked closely with Rubicon on a number of specific areas of the project and have always found them helpful and insightful. I look forward to working with them again.
CEO, North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust
The work that Rubicon has delivered for the Trust has been excellent and always produced in a timely manner.  The key thing for me is Rubicon’s ability to quickly understand issues we are facing and offer options for consideration that certainly have credibility with our senior clinicians and Board members.
Managing Director Finance & Deputy Chief Executive, Leicestershire Partnership Trust
Andy has worked with Leicestershire Partnership Trust on a number of occasions over the last eighteen months, and has built up a good reputation within our Trust. The quality of his work is excellent -  he quickly gets to grips with what the key issues are for a particular task , distilling the critical points from a  wide range of complex information sources into readable and accessible reports.
CEO, Berkshire Healthcare
I can say without reservation that all of the work that Rubicon has been involved in for the Trust has been produced on time and to a very high quality.  One of the particular things that has stood out about the work is not only the ability both to engage clinicians and managers but also to ensure the end product is fit to go to the Board.
“South, Central and West CSU and Rubicon were engaged by the North East Hampshire and Farnham Vanguard programme team to develop a whole health and social care system activity and financial model to support the Vanguard. The model and associated support they have delivered is excellent. It allows us to understand in considerable detail the impact of ‘doing nothing’ on the affordability of health and care across our local system. The model also clearly demonstrates the potential impact of changes under our new models of care in a series of ‘change scenarios’. We have used the model extensively to guide development of our system-wide plans and will use the modelling as a key input to the development of our STP.”
Rubicon facilitated a full strategy development process for us from conception to completion. Their ability to understand our ‘world’ from both internal and external perspectives was impressive and they guided us dexterously through a complex and demanding process in a way that sustained energy and commitment levels to the very end.
"Rubicon have worked with the Trust on a number of occasions and most recently were engaged to support the development of an OBC for a major new mental health inpatient unit at St Ann's Hospital in Haringey, north London. Working with Rubicon was, as always, straightforward and efficient due to their extensive experience and highly professional approach. Rubicon provided constructive input on a wide range of issues as well as ensuring all the technical requirements were fully addressed. We look forward to continuing to work with Rubicon on the full business case."
We have been working with Medical Architecture and Rubicon for almost a year on a number of business cases to achieve substantial changes required by the Dorset Health System.  These will deliver the ambitions of Dorset’s Clinical Service Review (now incorporated into the STP) to radically develop the full potential of ‘Out of Hospital Services’, with aligned estate solutions using the Treasury’s Five Model Business Case. Medical Architecture and Rubicon have a user friendly, focused approach to facilitating the input and engagement of stakeholders; excellent project management, writing and presentation skills; extensive knowledge of the ‘Green Book Five Case Model’; and considerable design expertise.  They have accommodated the challenges presented by busy diaries and changing goalposts with good grace and flexibility.  As one who rarely recommends the use of consultants, Medical Architecture and Rubicon have brought such value to the work we are doing in Dorset, that I can recommend that any potential clients give MA/Rubicon the opportunity to present how they would meet their service requirements.  To date, in Dorset, they have delivered all they promised us in an efficient and amenable way.
Rubicon and the CSU provided us with a range of analytical and facilitation support enabling discussions sounding transforming services across South Wiltshire to commence. They have been very responsive and flexible with the programme as priorities have evolved during the last few months. They have been able to call on wider support from the CSU to help facilitate specific pathway redesign discussions. They have also worked hard to engage with system partners to build comprehensive analysis. All the work undertaken will form part of the wider platform to drive longer term transformation of pathways in order to reduce LOS, improve resilience and reduce cost. I would recommend them for other projects.
The QIPP4 Delivery team made a significant contribution in supporting the STP with its Financial Recovery Plan. Through their expert analysis of the STP's current position bringing together international/national best practice, they supported the system to identify a focus on length of stay. The team provided modelling which accurately captured a baseline, measured the opportunity and provided methodology for tracking the impact to the system from changes to length of stay.
